What a day on the water! 🎣 Everybody got a fish and more — a proper summer-season catch, with yellowfin tuna coming in by the dozen.

This is what December fishing off Inhaca can look like, and this shot was taken right in front of the camp. 🐟

🌴 AND THEN… WE WERE AT MA**CO CAMP. 🌊

Welcome to Ma**co Camp, Inhaca Island — where the sand is your driveway, the ocean is your view, and “what time is it?” becomes considerably less important. 🏝️☀️

After the long journey from Hoedspruit, the moment we arrived, it was time to switch gears and settle into island life.

🌴 FROM HOEDSPRUIT TO AN ISLAND PARADISE 🌊

It all started at the crack of dawn… 2:00 AM in Hoedspruit! 🌅🚐

Our very first Ma**co Camp Package Deal group hit the road on 27 September, heading from the bushveld all the way to the tropical shores of Inhaca Island, Mozambique.

🚐 Hoedspruit → Nelspruit → Maputo Border crossing into Mozambique
🛂 A little patience (and plenty of coffee!)
🌴 Through to Maputo
⛴️ Boat transfer across the water
🌊 Out onto the open water towards Inhaca Island
🏝️ Island arrival
🛻 And finally… the last leg to Ma**co Camp!

From a 2 AM departure in the Lowveld to swapping the bushveld for turquoise water, sandy shores and island life — this wasn't just a transfer…

It was part of the adventure. 🤙🏽

Nothing beats a proper beach bonfire right in front of Ma**co Camp — under the palm trees, coconuts, furniture in the sand, toes buried in the warm sand. Just the most amazing experience.

Christmas morning done right at Ma**co Camp 🎄✨

Shallow, safe water right out front — perfect for the little ones. This five-year-old is still in her pyjamas, covered in sand, grinning from ear to ear in front of the mangroves. No shoes, no rush, just pure festive-season joy on Inhaca Island.
