The camp is situated just below a portion of the Majestic Drakensberg Mountain Range called Mariepskop – named after Sotho Chief Marepe Mashile after the great battle of Moholoholo - and is surrounded by indigenous plantlife and our local wildlife. We have a variety of activities available from the camp, namely bush walks, game drives and also the Animal Rehabilitation Centre.

Description:
Moholoholo Forest Camp looking for a young energetic guide who is keen on guiding and learning the ropes of basic lodge management

Who are we looking for?
Seeking a Level 1 FGASA Field Guide.
The Lodge offers old school type of hospitality, so this guide must:

• Have a good general knowledge
• Must have initiative
• Mature and hands-on
• Able to have a meaningful conversation with (mostly foreign) guests
• Have great hosting skills.
• Have a good understanding of the environment
• The guide should be able to assume responsibility as back-up for management while they are away.
• Basic maintenance skills
• Ambitious
• Willing to work in a variety of departments to broaden skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Down to earth
• FGASA Level 1
• First Aid
• Valid Driver’s License

The Lodge will offer in return:
