Maninghi Lodge is situated on the banks of the Olifants River in the Northern section of Balule Nature Reserve, which is open to the Kruger National Park.
We have 4km of unrestricted views of the Olifants River - absolutely amazing!
Maninghi Main Lodge (Place of Plenty) and the Self-Catering Cottage are situated in the Parsons Section (Northern) of Balule Game Reserve, which is open to the Kruger National Park (Greater Kruger Region). The Lodge and Cottage, being on the banks, boast extraordinary, breath-taking and unrestricted views of the Olifants River and on a clear day - the Blyde River Canyon as well.
Being open to the Kruger National Park allows for all sorts of wildlife to roam freely between the Reserves, including the 'Big5', cheetah and wilddog. It is possible to 'game view' right from the comfort of the lodge grounds! Bird life is also fantastic, and makes for a great opportunity to tick off a few new species which my be seen!
