Our Main Area at 18, it stands tall atop the hill but somehow feels soft and subtle at the same time. 🤗 A unique structure with interior and design elements that nod to the natural beauty of the bush.

A few weeks ago, guests on a night drive were lucky enough to witness an incredibly special moment, Jayule with her two cubs on a kill 🐾✨

For a leopard mother, a successful hunt is about so much more than survival for herself. Once she has secured her prey, she will often stash it safely in a tree or hidden cover before calling her cubs in to feed. These moments are where young leopards begin to learn, not just how to eat, but how to survive 🐆

Have you ever heard this squeaking sound in the bush and wondered what it was? 👀🐿️

That noise is often an alarm call from a squirrel.

When a squirrel spots a predator such as a leopard, eagle, snake, or even a person, it will give a series of sharp calls to warn others of the danger. Not only does this alert nearby squirrels, but it can also let the predator know that it has been spotted, making a surprise attack much more difficult.

Next time you hear this sound while out on safari, take a moment to look around. There may be something interesting nearby… 👀🌿
