We love a good braai, but there’s more coming out of our kitchen.

A fresh salad, something tasty for dinner and always enough to go around. Good food is important to us here at Lion Treetop Lodge.

You can watch elephants for hours and still notice something new. 🐘

The wrinkles in their skin, the way they use their trunks, those enormous ears. And when you get a good view like this on safari, you really get to appreciate their size.

Come join us for a game drive in Kruger Park. We’d love to show you around!

What we love about hospitality? Making people feel welcome and at home.

Sometimes that just means making sure the path to your tent is swept and ready for your arrival. Walter taking care of the little things around Lion Treetop Lodge.

Arrive, settle into your tent and enjoy a few days in the bush.

Dinner and stories around the campfire in the evening, then an early start for a walking safari the next morning.
Sounds like a good weekend to us.

Why do we keep telling people to come on safari?

Because seeing African wildlife in the wild is completely different from seeing it on a screen. You get to spend time watching the animals, learning how they behave and seeing how everything in the bush is connected.

If Africa has been on your list for a while, come and experience it for yourself. We can help you plan your stay and safari itinerary from Lion Treetop Lodge.

We love exploring the bush on foot.

A bush walk teaches you about wildlife, but even more about the nature around it. Tracks, plants, insects, sounds and all the smaller things you might miss from a vehicle.

You start to understand how everything works together, and you leave with a whole new respect for the bush.

Join Bryce for a guided bush walk during your stay at Lion Treetop Lodge.

As the sun gets lower, the bush starts getting busy.
These curious little jackals came closer to investigate us on gamedrive before carrying on with their evening.
