Guesthouse Assistant Manager required - Medium sized Guesthouse - Hoedspruit
Responsible for all aspects of operations at the guesthouse, day-to-day staff management and guests. He / she should be an ambassador for the brand and the guesthouse. Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of our service culture, maximised operations and guest satisfaction. Work very closely with the guesthouse owners. Main focus areas would be Housekeeping, F&B and Front of House.
Education and Competencies required:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Two year experience in similar environment or education in Travel and Tourism will be an advantage
- Knowledge of area and Tourism products of Hoedspruit and surroundings
- Knowledge of various accounting and billing procedures
- Computer literate in MS Office essential
- Knowledge of Nightsbridge booking system
- Fluent in both English and Afrikaans
- Be able to work under pressure and non-standard hours
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Well organized and excellent time management
- Good communicator
- Team player
