Déja vu? As you may have heard, South Africa has moved back to (amended) Level 3 from today until (minimum) 14 January 2021. Sadly, ALL beaches are now off limits, but this view (thankfully) is not! So grateful to be able escape to the relative solace of Chapman's Peak Drive on our walk this morning. Stay safe everyone! 💕 🇿🇦

What an absolutely stunning day for the Hout Bay Yacht Club's Yacht Parade,⛵ ☀️ an event that traditionally marks the start of the yacht racing season. Such a beautiful sight from the beach as the vessels complete their circular route from the harbour across to the Chapman's Peak side of the bay.

| Day trips from Hout Bay - Durbanville/Melkbosstrand | 🚗About 50 mins north of Hout Bay just past Durbanville on the N7, you will find one of South Africa's flagship wine estates. Meerendal Wine Estate, with over 300 years of producing exceptional quality wine, it really has something for everyone. First stop was a coffee at Carlucci's Meerendal then a wander over to the canola fields, fulfilling a long held dream to be photographed in a sea of flowers!

Photoshoot over...we headed out to the coast at Melkbosstrand, where we stumbled across an absolute gem of a lunch spot - The Hart, where we enjoyed exquisite food, a sea view and exceptional service by Ryan. Highly recommended - we will be back! Oh and did I mention the awesome view of Table Mountain as we drove home via Blouberg...perfect day out! 💕 🇿🇦

Tourism in South Africa has been brought to its knees by the global pandemic, and this significance of this photo could not be more appropriate... , we will travel again!

We are so excited to welcome back guests from all over South Africa! While we waited patiently for Level 2, our spacious (58sqm) self catering Studio has had a spruce up, inside and out! Freshly painted, deep cleaned, ready and waiting for our first guests since March!

Rates for one night (for 2 people) start at R750 for Sept/Oct, R850 in November, up to R960 per night for peak season (all discounted by 20% off 2019 rates). Book direct and only pay a 20% deposit to secure your booking!
