What an incredible event to have been part of. ๐Ÿน๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

Weโ€™re so proud to have hosted the AGA SA 2026 National Championship at Mentors Country Estate, welcoming thousands of attendees to Jeffreys Bay for a truly memorable few days.

Beyond the excitement of the championship itself, it was incredibly special to be part of an event that brought so many people into our town and contributed positively to the local Kouga economy.

A huge thank you to AGA Eastern Cape, Kouga Municipality, every participant, supporter, visitor and everyone who played a part in making this event such a success.

It was an honour to host something of this scale, and one weโ€™ll remember for a long time. ๐Ÿนโœจ

Why come to God's Karoo Women Conference 2026?

Because we've been where you are. Tired. Thirsty. Carrying more than we were ever meant to carry alone.

God's Karoo Women Conference started in 2015 โ€” one calling, one promise and a whole lot of trust in a God who keeps His Word. ๐Ÿ™

Fast-forward to today, and we're still just 5 organizers... but we're backed by a growing team of volunteers who show up every single year to serve. We were all called to serve, Serve God and serve His daughters. ๐Ÿš€

We know what it's like to be weary. To be a woman carrying a home, a family, a job, a burden โ€” and running on empty.

That's why we're not building an event. We're building a well.

A place where weary women can come, sit down and drink deep from His Word โ€” the same way the woman at the well met Jesus and was never thirsty again. ๐Ÿ’ง

We believe in the Bible. We stand on His scriptures. Every teaching, every session, every moment of this weekend is built on that foundation โ€” not on hype, not on performance, but on His truth.

When you're filled, we're filled too. And there's nothing better than watching a woman walk in weary and walk out renewed, refreshed and reminded of who she is in Him. ๐Ÿ™Œ

More than 1 000 archers from across South Africa are expected in Jeffreys Bay from 28 September to 2 October 2026 for the Africa Genesis Archery South Africa National Championship.

The championship will take place at Mentors Country Estate just outside Jeffreys Bay, with approximately 2 500 visitors expected over the course of the event when families, coaches and supporters are included.

The event is being presented with the support of Kouga Local Municipality, which is serving as the main sponsor.

Three national championships will form part of the week-long programme.

The National Inter-Provincial Championship (NIPC) will see provincial teams compete for national honours.

The National Adult Archery Group Championship (NAAGC) will feature senior archers competing across various bow categories.

The National Interschool & Club Championship (NISCC) will feature school teams and club archers of different ages.

Opening parades, official ceremonies, a gala evening and prizegivings will also form part of the programme.

Kouga Executive Mayor Hattingh Bornman said the municipality welcomed the opportunity to host a national sporting event of this scale and expected the influx of visitors to benefit accommodation establishments, restaurants, retailers and tourism businesses.

Bornman:

We are delighted to welcome AGA South Africa and thousands of archers, families and supporters to Kouga. Events such as this provide an excellent opportunity to showcase our beautiful region while contributing directly to the local economy.

Organisers also hope the championship will expose local young people to archery and encourage greater participation in sport.

Visitors accompanying competitors will have an opportunity to explore Jeffreys Bay and the greater Kouga region during the championship, with local restaurants, markets, coastal attractions and other tourism activities expected to benefit from the additional visitors.

Spectators are welcome to attend the championship, with families and members of the community encouraged to support the archers as they compete for national honours.

This morning, we welcomed the opening ceremony of the Africa Genesis Archery South Africa (AGA SA) 2026 National Championship, hosted by AGA Eastern Cape right here at Mentors Country Estate in Jeffreys Bay.
