By ons in Astonbaai is dit vanoggend so 14 °C, en die son gaan oor ’n paar minute opkom. Daar waai ’n noordwestewind en ’n redelike wolkmassa is besig om in te beweeg. Op die voorpunt van die wolke kan ’n mens selfs ’n bietjie ligte motreën sien, hoewel dit nog nie hier by ons aangekom het nie.

Daar word eintlik nie veel reën vir vandag voorspel nie, so ons sal maar moet sien hoe stewig hierdie wolkmassa is en of dit iets gaan oplewer. Dit is beslis koelerig vanoggend, en die maksimum temperatuur behoort net so rondom 17–19 °C te draai. Die beskikbare voorspellings verskil effens, maar stem saam dat dit vandag redelik bewolk en koel gaan wees.

Hier by Rustic Dune is alles darem reg vir die dag. Al die kamers is mooi skoon, reggemaak en gereed vir nuwe gaste. Nou hoop ons maar die besprekings kom in!

Dit is inderdaad ’n pragtige Sondag hier in Aston Bay. Die son skyn heerlik en dit is tans omtrent 19 °C, met ’n voorspelde maksimum van ongeveer 20 °C vir vandag. Die wind is baie matig, so alles in ag genome is dit ’n besonder aangename, rustige dag hier by die kus. Mens kan beslis voel dat die lente stadig maar seker nader kom.

Ons het ook ’n baie besige naweek agter die rug. Al ons kamers was vol bespreek, en vandag is ons behoorlik aan die gang met die skoonmaak en gereedmaak van die kamers, want daar kom vanaand weer nuwe gaste in. Dit is voorwaar ’n groot seën en iets waarvoor ons baie dankbaar is.

Dit lyk ook asof Augustus heelwat beter verloop as die vorige twee maande, wat baie bemoedigend is. Hopelik is dit die begin van ’n goeie opwaartse tendens soos ons nader beweeg aan die lente en uiteindelik die besiger somerseisoen. Vir vandag geniet ons egter net die sonskyn, die rustige weer en die voorreg om besig te wees. ☀️🙏
