An open plan cottage with a queen sized bed, living area with DSTV, study/desk area with wifi and a fully fitted kitchen with a breakfast nook. The cottage has its own entrance with ample parking. Pets can be accommodated.

Spring has sprung in Johannesburg and the giant Witstinkhout Tree above the Green House Cottage is full of new green leaves. Truly a lovely sight. We've planted new beds in the Cottage garden and we've also added a sleeper couch. We'll be updating photographs soon.

Today is the start of the fabulous Home-Expo at the Coca Cola dome in Northgate Mall. It runs until Sunday and entrance is R70. The Bryanston Organic Market in Culross Rd is open on Saturday from 9 to 3pm. And the popular Rosebank Rooftop Market is held every Sunday.

If you're planning on visiting this month there are quite a few art exhibitions in the area. Thomas Nkosi opened his own gallery in Rivonia last week - The Thomarts Art Gallery. The Goethe-Institut in Parkwood is showcasing an international collaborative project and She@Intoto in Birdhaven has works by female artists. Scene is an exhibition of paintings and sculptures at Upstairs@bamboo in Melville.
