Melville, one of Johannesburg's trendiest neighbourhoods, made it onto Time Out's 50 coolest neighbourhoods from around the world.

Fantastic to see Melville chosen and its a stone throw away from BUZ Hive!

The list was put together by local Time Out editors, city experts and more than 27,000 people surveyed around the world. It also features Footscray in Melbourne and Astoria in New York.

A lovely review from Ophelie and Florian a young couple from France who spent 3 months with us, lovely couple to host.

"We stayed 3 months in the Bridget's cottage for the studies and we really loved our stay ! Bridget is really kind and gave us a lot of good advices. She gave us a lot of care and attention. The cottage was cosy, clean and comfortable, very private. It is located in a safe place in Johannesburg, close to Melville and is 2min (by foot) from a peacefull park. We were new in joburg, coming from France, and Bridget helped us a lot to take our marks in this very difficult city ! Cutie and Pop corn, her two dogs, are lovely. We highly recommend the Bridget's cottage ! It was probably the best experience of our life ! Thanks Bridget !"
