Kitty Kaya Cat Hotel Established in 2010, Kitty Kaya is a secure 12 unit brick and tile cat hotel with rooms opening onto enclosed patios.

The units are heated in winter and have fans for the hot summer months. Kitty Kaya is a 12 unit brick and tile ranch style cat boarding establishment. Each cabana unit has its own enclosed garden patio. The cabanas have insulated ceilings and under floor and wall heating panels for the cold winter months. Fans are installed for the hot and humid summer months. The patios have shade cloth blinds ov

er the top that roll out in summer under clear polycarbonate roofing. Our boarders therefore have shade and protection from the rain in summer and plenty of sun and warmth in winter. Logs for climbing on, chairs and cushions for lounging, fleecy blankets and cat caves for restful sleep are also provided. Costs range from R180 per day/ night per cat with discounts for multiple cat families and long stays. Only cats that normally live together board together. The Proprietor of Kitty Kaya personally takes care of all visitors. We have facilities for frail and high care cats that need medication, special feeding, injections, subcutaneous fluids, etc.

sHullo Everyone, Kitty Kaya is open for business but as you can see from the photos, our rooms are all empty due to the Covid 19 lockdown.We have had no guests since 10 March. The profits from Kitty Kaya help fund the feral colonies at the Constantia Office park. I have had all the cats neutered, 38 of them. I have had 25 babies tested for FIV and FeLv and all the healthy ones which fortunately was most of them, 23, have loving homes. We euthanised many very sick cats. We now have 25 healthy, neutered cats living in the office park that are fed daily. I am grateful that security at the park has been feeding the cats during lockdown. I woud like to appeal to anyone who would like to help support these cats until business reopens and people start travelling and using Kitty Kaya services to make a donation towards these ferals.
