FIM Africa Welcome to the fan page for the FIM's Continental Union for Motorcycling in Africa Continental Unions (CONU's) (such as FIM AFRICA) are bodies of the FIM.

The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) is an international organisation acting in all matters connected with motorcycling activities and, as such, is active in domains as varied as sport, the environment, mobility, road safety, legal affairs, and the protective and defence of the rights and interests of motorcycle users. As far as motorcycle sports are concerned, the FIM is the suprem

e and sole international authority empowered to control international motorcycling events organised under its jurisdiction throughout the world and as such acts as the supreme court for the settlement of disputes which may arise from the organisation of such activities, save those cases that may be submitted to the Court for Arbitration for Sports in Lausanne, Switzerland. CONU's are recognised geographic subdivisions of, and are accountable, to the FIM. There are six recognised CONUs, each named according to the continent in which it is located: FIM Asia, FIM AFRICA, FIM Europe, FIM Oceania, FIM North America and FIM Latin America. Every Federation (FMN) in the geographic area of a CONU, is by virtue of its membership of the FIM, automatically a member of that CONU.

🌍 FIM AFRICA TEAM ANNOUNCED FOR BRAZIL! 🇧🇷🏁

The team is set! FIM Africa has announced the riders who will represent the continent at the 2026 FIM Intercontinental Games in Goiânia, Brazil, from 10 to 13 December.

🇿🇦 🇪🇬 🇦🇴 🇺🇬 🇿🇲 Riders from five African nations will compete across SSP300, Supersport and MX2, with motocross making its FIM Intercontinental Games debut in an MX2 format.

But that's not all... 👀

WHAT TO EXPECT | BE READY FOR THE DAY

You’re coming to a motocross track, not a stadium, so a little preparation will make your day at Gallina much more comfortable.

MAKE YOURSELF COMFORTABLE
✔ Bring camping chairs or something comfortable to sit on. You’ll be spending a full day at the track
✔ You’re welcome to bring a gazebo for shade, but space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis, so arrive early if you’re hoping to set one up
✔ Please be considerate when choosing your spot and don’t block walkways, access routes or other spectators’ views

DRESS FOR GALLINA
✔ Wear comfortable, closed walking shoes. Expect sand, dust, uneven ground and plenty of walking
✔ Bring sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses. You’ll be outdoors for most of the day and shade cannot be guaranteed
✔ Early mornings can be chilly, so bring a jacket or warm layer. As the day heats up, you can lose the layers
✔ Motocross means dust, so dress accordingly. This probably isn’t the day for your favourite white outfit

PLAN FOR A FULL DAY
✔ Racing starts early and continues throughout the day, so come prepared to settle in for the full day
✔ Food vendors and bar facilities will be available throughout the weekend
✔ Remember that no drinks may be brought into the venue, although you may bring an empty cooler box
✔ Keep your essentials with you and look after your personal belongings throughout the day
