Creating Extraordinary Celebrations The styles vary from dinner party dining to casual Sunday lunches.

Internationally trained chef Sandy Wood offers gourmet cooking demonstrations in the comfort of her own kitchen. The foundation of her demonstrations lie in her presentation and the freshness of her ingredients. Sandy says "In today's busy world I believe simple dishes, beautifully prepared and served on wonderful platters is the way to go." Cuisines covered in the kitchen include Asian, Greek, It

alian, French, Portuguese and of course her favourite, Al Fresco dining. Sandra was trained at Prue Leith in Johannesburg, The Cordon Bleu in London, Ballymaloe in Ireland and Giuliano Bugiallis in Florence. During this time she also worked at Harry's Bar and The Wilds restaurant in London. In South Africa she worked at Cybele Forest Lodge and loved her 7 years as Executive Chef at a JSE listed company. This was followed by 4 years as a partner in a renowned Johannesburg restaurant.

I am here relaxing and gathering inspiration for the season ahead, from a country where every view tells a story. The air smells of wild thyme & sea breeze, and food is an expression of love and culture.

Meals are shared, never rushed and always centred around connection - lashings of olive oil, fresh ingredients and generous hospitality at the heart of it all.

Taking it all in, to bring back into the world of Sandy’s for the next season.
