There's Something About the Mare.

Look closely at her side. That is what the fire left behind.

This is Lady Brave. She survived the burns. She lost her foal last season. We didn't know if she'd carry another.

This week she's standing in the new grass with a healthy c**t beside her. 🌿

Two foals born on the mountain in the last few days — and this one means the most.
