Today our hearts are incredibly heavy as we hear of the tragic accident involving the learners and staff of Laerskool Kathu.

As the Kathuhari Guesthouse family, and as proud alumni parents and members of this very special school community, we are deeply saddened by this heartbreaking loss.

Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences go out to the family of the beloved teacher who lost her life, to every learner affected, to those who have been injured, and to every family carrying fear and uncertainty today.

Laerskool Kathu will always hold a special place in our hearts, as it was the foundation where two of our boys began their school journey. Today, we stand with the entire school community in grief, in prayer, and in hope for healing for everyone impacted.

What once was a space of rest and healing… is about to be reimagined.

In 2023, we closed our spa — a decision that was not easy, especially with Lezanne's move to Gauteng - Western Cape. It marked the end of a very special chapter.

But sometimes… endings make space for something even better 🤍
