This Heritage Day, the Golf Estate in Kathu was treated to something truly special — an intimate, laid-back performance by the incredibly talented Daniel Wesley.

With his smooth vocals and effortless charm, Daniel took us on a nostalgic musical journey, performing a few timeless medleys from the 60s, 70s, and beyond. From golden oldies to soulful classics. Each song struck a chord and created the perfect soundtrack for a relaxed evening under the Kalahari sky. A calm, heartfelt gathering of residents enjoying good music, warm company, and the beauty of South Africa’s rich heritage.

We at Kathumzi Guesthouse had the absolute pleasure of hosting Daniel during his stay in Kathu and what an honor it was to welcome such a gifted artist to our space.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to Daniel Wesley for sharing his talent and heart with our community. Here’s to many more moments like these.

ASSISTANT GUESTHOUSE MANAGER VACANCY:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Guesthouse Manager. An individual who is highly guest and service centric, with previous experience in a guesthouse management role. Applicants need to have a valid driver license and reside in the Kathu area.

Key Responsibilities:

Key duties include overseeing daily operations, ensuring a curated guest experience, assisting with housekeeping duties, managing staff, managing reservations, and maintaining the property and its amenities. This also involves general office duties, inventory control and addressing guest communication.
