A huge thank you to our client for the great company, memories, and an incredible hunt for this beautiful Hartmann’s mountain zebra. These zebras are known for the absence of stripes on the belly, their rugged mountain habitat, and their sure-footed ability across rocky terrain, truly one of Africa’s most unique and striking animals.

A magnificent impala ram taken in the heart of the bushveld. One of our favourite animals to hunt — not only for their beauty and graceful movement, but also for the unforgettable sounds they make this time of year during the rut.

As the rams chase the females and challenge other males, the bush comes alive with their deep, rough snorts and grunts echoing through the veld. It almost sounds like:

“Pffrrt… khrr… pffft!”

A sound every hunter knows means the bush is alive and the rut is in full swing.
