Barney Barnato was a pioneer in the South African diamond and gold rush. He was a man of ambition and resolve and never let anything stand in his way. It is common knowledge that upon landing in the Cape Barney spent 3 months walking all the way to Kimberley with a bullock cart due to his lack of funds. He was a man that built himself from the ground up and soon found himself being one of the wealthiest men of his era. It is a story of humble beginnings and how anything can be achieved once ones mind is set on it. That is what motivates us here at Barney Barnato’s BnB, the ability to continually improve our service and strive for service excellence. Barney Barnato BnB reopened its doors in November 2015 after a change of ownership. The upgraded BnB is bound to bring a warm sense of nostalgia to past patrons as well as excite first time patrons. ACCOMMODATION
All rooms are accessed through their own entrance giving you the privacy you need. Access to the property is strictly monitored and the property is secured with electric fencing, CCTV cameras and alarms. All rooms are equipped with DSTV, complimentary WiFi, Nespresso machines, Underfloor heating as well as a bar fridge and other conveniences. Each room has Egyptian Cotton Linen to ensure that your comfort is of the highest quality. Barney Barnato BnB has a beautiful spacious property that lends itself to breakfasts under the pergola ,beautiful summer days at the swimming pool and toasty winter evenings around the TV. The formal dining area is combined with a lounge and offers great entertainment value whether it be entertaining the family or celebrating a successful business deal.
