The new parking system is set to pilot on Monday the 1st of December. The definitive pricing structure is as follows.

Spar on-grade parking:

Free, unlimited parking.

Undercover parking:

0 - 1 hours: free
1 - 2 hours: R10
2 - 3 hours: R15
3 - 4 hours: R20
4 - 5 hours: R40
5 - 6 hours: R60
6 - 8 hours: R100
8+ hours to overnight: R150

In the lead up to launch many claims about the parking system have been circulated. Most of those claims were based on rumours and hearsay, and as such were misleading.

Please disregard any such claims that contradict what the Knysna Mall communicates through our website and social media. All updates to the system and fee tiers will be communicated through official communication channels.

We will be carefully monitoring the effects of the new system in the early stages of deployment. We hope that the new system will increase parking availability for customers of businesses at the Mall. This should make your experience of shopping at the Mall more convenient.

The first three months following the launch are an extended testing phase. Nothing is set in stone. We commit to operating with the best interests of our tenants and their customers in mind.
