We are blessed having fantastic guests. Especially such talented and creative guests like Margo and Roeland: we had a lovely, lazy afternoon, when Margo found the little tin toy cars in our living room. The tin toy cars are made in the Knysna Township. Aren‘t they amazing pictured like that? Thank you, Margo van Vledder!

Todays highlight: African Lunch with the Candlewood Team. Thanks to Faith! She has cooked a great beef stew with vegetables, hot Shakalaka (oh, my word was it hot) and Milepap.

The french cuisine prepares a Mille Feuille with cream, sugar and fruits. We make a savoury Mille Feuille with layers of fine pastry with homemade basil pesto, goat cheese, fresh vegetables and Serrano Ham.

we develop new ideas for our breakfast. We worked on a new dish served like a “tasting spoon”, it is a “tasting fork” full of flavour:

Carrot Pappardelle

and reduced Orange Raisins

What a great initiative! Knysna, the green town, has planted more than 100 new trees this week! And hopefully there are more on the way along the N2 to welcome our international travellers!

Thanks, Knysna Municipality!!! What a great town! (Yes, on that picture are no trees, will make the right picture with trees next time. But we are so excited and could wait to post ...)
