The Old Orchard, Nestled at the feet of the Mount Currie Mountains just outside the gateway town of Kokstad on the Kwazulu-Natal / Eastern Cape Border, presents the perfect stop over on your travels through this beautiful part of the country. Built on the shores of a picturesque dam away from the bustle of the city, with tranquil views out over the surrounding mountains, The Old Orchard offers a variety of accommodation options within a peaceful and relaxing environment.

With 16 gorgeous rooms to choose from we are sure we have just what you are looking for. The Old Orchard offers a variety of very comfortable and spacious en-suite accommodation options, with a choice of chalets facing either the waters edge, the pretty gardens or the golf driving range. Rooms are very tastefully decorated, and offer all the amenities one would expect from an upmarket venue, including tea and coffee making facilities, heating, and DSTV. Log fires in the public areas, a delightful restaurant, small pool, pretty gardens and the ever-present mountain landscape create the perfect backdrop to the luxurious accommodation on offer.

On site you will also find Cassandra’s, a highly rated a la carte restaurant and wood fired pizzas. There is definitely something for everyone on our menu!
