Green Kruger Lodge Nestled in the conservancy area Marloth Park, at the southernmost tip of the Kruger National Park lies Green Kruger Lodge.

Our inspiration was drawn from the Baobab. It can undergo a huge amount of mutilation, and still continue to thrive and heal. For some cultures it is the tree under which man was born. It is a symbol of endurance, conservation, creativity, ingenuity and dialogue. Green Kruger imitates the Baobab Tree - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. We want to create awareness that we can all make a difference. By usi

ng a combination of alternative building methods, smart design and technologies lowering our carbon footprint and impact on the environment, we can create that awareness and still offer sophistication and comfort. Our carbon footprint is lowered in many ways. First and foremost our building is green – more than 80% of the structure consists of recycled organic material that is super insulated and soundproof. There is an abundance of free-roaming wild-life in Marloth Park which can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own sun-filled eco-friendly strawbale room, the wide open communal lounge and dining area, or by taking a walk through the luscious Bushveld. GREEN KRUGER LODGE might not fit the taste of some “picky” tourists. We take a minimalistic, eco-friendly approach to the concept of luxury and comfort with a special concern for sustainability of the environment. The culture of the GREEN KRUGER LODGE was designed by keeping the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle in mind without compromising on luxury and comfort.
