Willinga Lodge We are a self catering lodge based in Kosmos, Hartebeespoort. Only 45 minutes from Johannesburg and 30 minutes from Pretoria. Toiletries are supplied.

Our Bali Style Lodge is situated in the secure and picturesque village of Kosmos, with wonderful views of Hartbeespoortdam, Willinga Lodge is a perfect romantic getaway. Set in a beautiful tropical garden are seven private deluxe suites (five with thatched roofs). The suites are all very private with separate entrances, terraces or their own private deck (balcony in the case of the Palm suite). Al

l seven suites have en-suite bathrooms with bath and shower, four suites have spa baths and six suites have fireplaces as well. The well appointed suites are equipped with bar fridges, overhead fans and coffee and tea making facilities. Picnic baskets for 2 can be pre-ordered to enjoy on your own private terrace. Braai facilities are also available at the suites or at the thatched lapa next to the saltwater rock pool. There is a fully equipped main kitchen available for the guests who want to do self catering. The TV lounge is equipped with DSTV. The outside Jacuzzi under the trees and a saltwater rock pool are always popular in summer. We are close to good restaurants popular fast food outlets as well as a local Spar. There are two art galleries in Kosmos, three in Schoemansville and African craft markets and Welwitsha country market around the corner. Bill Harrop’s hot air ballooning, The Elephant and Monkey Sanctuary and the De Wildt wild dog and cheetah centre are nearby. Sun City and Pilanesberg Game Park are only 90km away. Margaret Roberts Herbal centre, the Van Gaalen cheese farm as well as a strawberry farm are 20 minutes away. Quad biking courses, horse riding and hiking are possible in the area. Bird watching & safe walks can be done in Kosmos. Full English breakfasts served in the Bali house with its unique Bali roof imported from Bali in the dining room which has a stunning view of the dam. Missing hosting our guests here during lockdown.We can however host essential workers with permits. All our suites for our guests are completely separate. See property layout. Most have braai on their terrace.
Meals can also be ordered and delivered to the lodge from our local restaurant Dockers. Also some other takeaways can deliver.
