Boplaas Guesthouse Luxury Self Catering Guest House The Ceres district is well-known for its hearty hospitality and at Boplaas it is no different. Today, this tradition lingers on.

If we had to describe what Boplaas Guesthouse is about in two words, we would have to resort to our mother tongue, Afrikaans, because ‘geselligheid’ and ‘samesein’ definitely say it best. Both refer to a sense of warmth and togetherness that one experiences when you spend quality time with loved ones and good friends. We van Der Merwe brothers remember a home full of family and friends on weekends

. There was always space for another soul at the old homestead and everyone was welcome. At Boplaas Guesthouse we honour our parents’ legacy and invite you to come and share in the beauty of the Kouebokkeveld and the bounty of the farm with us. There is a lot to do here for the adventurer and more than enough peace and quiet for soul searchers. In summer, the dam offers cool respite from the midday heat and in winter, the crackling log fire is the perfect accompaniment to the beautiful views of our very own, snow-capped Table Mountain.
