Four Poles Beach gets its distinctive local name from four wooden or concrete poles that were historically erected on or near the beach, serving as navigational or fishing markers. Today, this peaceful stretch of coastline near Tiffany’s Beach has a relaxed local feel. It is enjoyed mainly by surfers, anglers, walkers and dog owners, rather than being a formal swimming beach.
