I had a very interesting return guest from Holland, Frank Versteegh. His whole career was aerobatic pilot from 1985. Now retired and touring Africa. He was also a Red Bull pilot and for a while no 1 aerobatic world champion.

Myself and Andrew Pike (writer of Oceanos, Against all Odds) did a presentation at the Bredasdorp Shipwreck Museum in Bredasdorp recently. I was a Puma helicopter pilot at 15 Squadron AFB Durban in 1991 when the Oceanos Rescue happened.

0n 08 August 2025, Andrew Pike (writer of the book Against all Odds, Oceanos) and myself were invited to do a presentation at the Shipwreck Museum in Bredasdorp. (I was one of the Puma pilots from 15 Squadron AFB Durban who partake in the rescue in 1991). Was great fun!
