shuis” was founded in 1904, after the Anglo-Boer War, during which many children were orphaned. LHH has opened its doors in the stately double storey sandstone building which was erected in 1920. LHH hosts luxury en-suite bedrooms with scenic views. The heart-warming lounge and dining area provide visitors with a relaxed atmosphere, where a glass of fine South African wine or whiskey can be enjoyed, while browsing through one of our ample books or playing a game of billiards or snooker. Bordering the eighteen-hole golf course of the Ladybrand Sports Club, we offer direct access to a round of golf, a few lengths of swimming, a session at the gym, a game of tennis or squash or a walk on the Steve Visser hiking trail, leading you to the historical "Stables", carved out of solid sandstone rock, millions of years ago.
