Just a little about me…
I thought today I’d share a little more about the person behind the name. Carol Burger I was born in the beautiful town of Montagu, and life has taken me on quite a journey since then.
I’m married to Albert Burger a farmer, surfer and being his wife has been such a special part of my life. Together we have two wonderful daughters who have brought us more joy, laughter and memories than we could ever have imagined 🙏
Then there’s the West Coast…
Somehow, this beautiful part of the world found its way into my heart. I love the people, the wide-open spaces, the sea, the sunsets, the slower pace and that wonderful feeling of being part of a community.
I’ve always loved people.
I love a good conversation, hearing someone’s story, making connections and, whenever I can, helping someone find exactly what they’re looking for.
That’s probably why I enjoy what I do so much. Whether I’m helping someone find a property, welcoming guests into accommodation, or simply sharing a little piece of the West Coast with someone who hasn’t discovered it yet it never really feels like work to me.
I’m a people person.
I’m a wife, a mom, a farmer’s wife, a property person, a host, a friend… and someone who feels incredibly grateful for the life I get to live.
I may have been born in Montagu, but these days my heart definitely belongs to the West Coast.

Baie geluk met jou verjaarsdag, Teresa!
Vandag wil ek nie net vir jou ’n baie gelukkige verjaarsdag toewens nie, maar ook sommer sê: BAIE DANKIE vir alles wat jy doen vir die Akkommodasie
Die werk wat jy doen, is nie altyd maklik nie. Skoonmaak is harde werk, en daar is soveel meer aan akkommodasie as wat mense van buite af sien. Jy help met die skoonmaak, reëlings en soveel van die klein goedjies wat uiteindelik ’n groot verskil maak.
Een van die lekkerste dinge vir my is wanneer gaste terugvoer gee en sê hoe skoon en netjies die eenhede is.
Jy is ñ belangrike deel van die span.
Sonder ’n goeie span sou ek nie kon doen wat ek doen nie.
Elke persoon wat help, maak ’n verskil
Teresa, baie dankie vir jou harde werk, jou hulp en alles wat jy vir my en die akkommodasie doen.
Mag hierdie nuwe jaar vir jou baie mooi dinge, groei, geluk bring , mag God jou sëën en bewaar .Geniet jou verjaarsdag jy verdien dit!

Discover the quieter side of the West Coast… Accommodation Westcoast Wonders ZA
There are places around Lambert’s Bay that you don’t simply visit you discover them. Places where the roads get quieter, the skies feel bigger, and you can truly escape the rush of everyday life.
One of these unique places is Redelinghuys, near Aurora and Verlorenvlei a peaceful little corner of the West Coast, surrounded by beautiful nature and wide-open spaces.
It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down, breathe, and appreciate the simple things. A place to visit, a place to explore, and perhaps even a place to find a little more peace.

𝐎𝐤𝐚𝐲… 𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐈'𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞.

On our way to Lambert's Bay last weekend I came across this... it's the R365 road sign... apparently. 🤔

Now, I'm not anti-sticker. Some of them are actually really cool. But when you get to the point where you can barely see whether you're on the R365 or heading to Koekenaap( yes, that is a real place) … you've got a problem.

So instead of covering actual road signs, why don't we have designated STICKER BOARDS?

At viewpoints. At scenic stops. At places where travellers, surfers, bikers and roadtrippers actually stop and hang around.

Sticker lovers get to sticker and leave their mark, while road signs can still be road signs.

And I can retire from my very controversial career as the Sticker Police... yup someone called me that plus a whole lot of other names I would rather not mention here 😜
