The Seeberg Birdhide in West Coast National Park is one of our favourite spots. Get a close-up look at the remarkable birdlife of Langebaan Lagoon, from elegant flamingos to waders probing the shallows. Bring your camera and binoculars, take a moment, and enjoy nature at its finest.

Seeberg Lookout is a highly popular lookout point in Langebaan. According to common lore a Dutchman by the name of Bollie Prenz, also known as Wit Bollie, built the house on the lookout. It was built with stones that he gathered around the base of the hill and carried up the hill in bags.
He made himself a vegetable and fruit garden just north of the hill, where he planted prickly pear, fig and quince trees. The prickly pear and fig trees are still there today. Enjoy the wonderful panoramic views of from the Seeberg Lookout and gaze over to see on a clear day.
