The Hanover Park Children’s Ministry Camp, held under the theme *“Seek First the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness”* (Matthew 6:33), was a joyful and enriching weekend filled with spiritual growth, learning, and fun.

The children participated enthusiastically in worship, Bible study, games, and fellowship while being encouraged to put God first in their daily lives. In support of the church’s newly launched Environmental Desk, the children were also sensitised on the importance of caring for God’s creation and keeping their surroundings clean.

Highlights of the camp included an exciting visit to the historic tunnels, a fun-filled rugby session on the beach with coaches from Knights Rugby, and a vibrant talent show where the children showcased their gifts and creativity. The weekend was a wonderful success, leaving the children inspired, empowered, and excited to continue seeking God while being responsible stewards of the environment.

We recently hosted the Paarl Girls Netball teams at our A-Site, Apostle Battery Campsite in Llandudno, for an exciting weekend away.

The 3-day camp was filled with fun, laughter, team-building activities, archery, ketty shooting, and a hike to the cross, exploring the underground tunnels, all facilitated by our experienced onsite team.

Our catering team kept everyone well fed while enjoying one of the most beautiful views in Cape Town.

Dryden Primary held a leadership camp for their school prefects the past weekend at Apostle Battery Campsite - Llandudno. The learners are all currently in Grade 7 and serve as the senior learners and prefects of their school, carrying important leadership responsibilities.

The purpose of the camp was to equip and encourage them in their roles as young leaders. Throughout the camp, they participated in team-building activities, leadership development sessions, and self-awareness training designed to build confidence, communication, responsibility, and teamwork.

The experience also gave them the opportunity to strengthen relationships with one another while learning valuable leadership skills they can apply at school and in everyday life.
