There's nothing quite like gathering around the crackling boma fire with a mug of rich, creamy hot chocolate in hand. Bring along your ingredients - our Boma Hot Chocolate is the perfect companion for cool evenings under the stars!

INGREDIENTS (SERVES 2)
2 cups full-cream milk
½ cup fresh cream
100 g good-quality milk chocolate, finely chopped
2 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tbsp brown sugar (adjust to taste)
½ tsp vanilla extract
A small pinch of salt

OPTIONAL TOPPINGS
Whipped cream
Chocolate shavings
Mini marshmallows
A dusting of cocoa powder

METHOD
Pour the milk and cream into a small saucepan and warm gently over medium heat. Do not allow it to boil.
Whisk in the cocoa powder, brown sugar and pinch of salt until smooth.
Add the chopped chocolate and stir continuously until completely melted and velvety.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Pour into your favourite mugs and top with whipped cream, marshmallows or chocolate shavings, if desired.

Find a comfortable seat around the boma fire, wrap yourself in a cosy blanket, and enjoy your hot chocolate while listening to the sounds of nature.
