🤍 When a gathering becomes more than an event…
Some functions at Camp Aquila are not simply about a venue, a meal or a beautiful setting.
They are created with a deeper purpose — to bring people together, create space for fellowship, and allow them to experience God’s presence in the beauty and peace of the mountains. 🌿
When Lynette Roberts from Kingdom Church visited Camp Aquila from 7–8 August, she came together with others for a special time of fellowship and connection.
Afterwards, Lynette sent us this beautiful message:
“From the moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed — firstly by God’s presence throughout the camp, and secondly by the friendliness of the staff, the excellent service and the delicious food.”
She also mentioned the cleanliness of the rooms, the warm hospitality from Susan, and the care and support she received throughout the planning process.
Her final rating?
“10 out of 10.” 🤍
But for us, the most meaningful part is knowing that they felt welcomed, cared for and at peace.
That is why we love what we do at Kamp Aquila.
Because sometimes, creating the right space for people is about much more than hosting an event.
It is about creating a place where people can connect, be encouraged, make memories — and encounter God in the beauty of His creation. 🙏🌿
