100 years of Kruger. 🐘🌿
For a century, Kruger has been a sanctuary for wildlife, a place where ancient ecosystems continue to thrive and where countless conservation success stories have been written.
Covering nearly 20,000 km², Kruger National Park is one of Africa’s largest and most iconic protected areas, home to over 140 mammal species, more than 500 bird species, and an extraordinary diversity of plants, reptiles, and insects.
As Izakithi River Villa overlooks this remarkable wilderness, we are privileged to call Kruger our backyard. Every sunrise over the Crocodile River, every elephant crossing, every lion’s roar in the distance reminds us how special this place truly is.
Today, we celebrate 100 years of protecting wildlife, preserving wild spaces, and inspiring generations to connect with nature.
Here’s to the next century of conservation, discovery, and unforgettable moments in the wild.
