for the children, swimming pool in the complex. Uvongo is famous for its picturesque waterfall, boat hire, craft stalls and great fishing and is surrounded by Blue Flag Beaches. The South coast can only be described as paradise with a warm subtropical climate. Shelly beach is only 2km from Uvongo and is great for deep-sea fishing trips and pleasure trips for the boys, for the girls Shelly beach shopping centre is compulsory. The South Coast Locals believe that the Sardine Run starts when the last aloes bloom mainly in June and July, millions of small silvery fish migrate up the coast from the Cape, followed eagerly by thousands of dolphins, whales, birds and large game fish.
