There are moments in the wild that silence everything around you.

I had the privilege of being just a few meters from this lion… I felt it first in my chests — the weight of his presence, the quiet power in every breath.

Then he looked at me.

For a brief second, our eyes met. No words. No movement. Just two living beings sharing a moment in the same ancient world.

And in that gaze, I was reminded of something humbling…
Out here, I am not the ruler of the land.

I am simply a visitor in the presence of a king.
