🦁🌿 A DAY OF LEARNING, SONG & LAUGHTER AT PUMBAA! 🌿🐯

On Friday, 4 September 2026, we had the pleasure of welcoming D and C Primary School to Pumbaa Wildlife Park for an exciting Educational Tour. 🎒🐾

The learners enjoyed an unforgettable experience exploring the wonderful world of wildlife, getting up close to some of our amazing animals and learning more about the importance of wildlife conservation and caring for our natural heritage.

But the day wasn't only about learning! 🎶😄
There was plenty of song, laughter and happy moments, reminding us that some of the best memories are made when education and enjoyment come together.
Seeing the excitement, smiles and enthusiasm of the learners is exactly why we love welcoming schools to Pumbaa Wildlife Park. ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to D and C Primary School, the educators and every learner who joined us. We hope you returned home with new knowledge, wonderful memories and a greater love and appreciation for our incredible wildlife.

🔥 ALL IN A DAY’S WORK 🔥
Winter is our dry season, and with it comes the serious risk of veld fires. At Pumbaa Wildlife Park, our staff remain alert and ready to act because the safety of our animals, visitors and property is always our highest priority.
Today, a fire was spotted near the park. Without hesitation, our entire team sprang into action. Through courage, teamwork and determination, they prevented the flames from spreading and extinguished the fire before it could become a serious threat to our animals.
A heartfelt thank you to the Pumbaa and Zabini team for your quick response and tireless efforts. Your actions helped prevent what could have become a devastating disaster.
This is what true teamwork looks like—standing together, protecting what matters and refusing to give up until the danger has passed.
Not all heroes wear capes. Some carry fire beaters and stand bravely between the flames and the animals they love.
