Panorama Guest Farm Come enjoy the peace and quiet of farm life ... ideal for groups and functions or just a weekend get We can sleep up to 36 guests (shared accommodation).

The ideal venue for work contractors looking for long term self-catering accommodation, small groups, family gatherings, Church gatherings or small clubs or societies to have a weekend break away together. Our function venue is rustic and outdoorsy and ideal for functions of up to 30 people. Email us for packages, bookings and enquiries. All cottages are self-catering and fully equipped with two b

edrooms, a bathroom (shower), open plan kitchen/dining/lounge, patio area and braai facilities. Cottages sleep up to 4 people. Linen and towels provided. En-suite rooms have a queen sized bed and a bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. There is a small bar fridge as well as kettle and microwave in each. (Maximum of 2 occupants).There is an equipped open air communal kitchen for the 6 en-suite rooms with a braai facility. All cottages and rooms are serviced prior to arrival and once a week thereafter, and are not serviced on Sundays or Public Holidays. Open parking available next to the cottage / room or under roof parking next to the main house. We are fully self-catering. All Cottages and En-suite rooms have a TV and a dish - just bring your DSTV decoder along with you - or we offer the DSTV Easy View package if you prefer not to bring your decoder along. We are a Pet-friendly establishment ( only Cottage 5) with full kenneling facilities, and there could be many dogs in the kennels during holiday seasons. Please remember – we have three km of dirt road and dogs (that we ask our guests not to feed bones to).

Red Chested Cuckoo /Piet My Vrou

The red-chested cuckoo is a medium-size cuckoo about 31 cm (12.2 in) in length. The male has slate-grey upper parts, pale grey throat and sides of head and dark grey tail tipped with white. The breast is rufous or cinnamon, often with barring, and the belly is creamy-white or pale buff. The female is similar but the colour of the breast is duller and with variable amounts of barring

Spent last Sunday birding in the garden... Some pics...

Yellow Rumped Tinkerbird was super special.

Think we were on 46 species for the day. Really is a birder's paradise!

Just to clarify Yellow Billed and White Backed Ducks were on a dam on the farm, not in the garden.
