Country life in McGregor just keeps on giving!

We always love sharing our regular visitors from the neighboring Krans Nature Reserve with you - whether it’s a slow-paced Angulate tortoise crossing the path or a majestic blue crane flying overhead. But today, the spotlight is on our very own backyard residents.
Meet the newest additions to the Stone House gardens! 🐣 This little flock of guinea fowl nested right here with us and, against all odds (and despite a very persistent, lurking grey mongoose 😅), they successfully hatched these 5 tiny chicks.
Watching the proud parents introduce their babies to their new surroundings is just the sweetest thing. It’s quiet little moments like this that make living out here so incredibly special. Nature really is right on our doorstep! ❤️
