An unusual visitor 💚 🦗

We’ve never spotted one of these around the Red Caboose before - a bladder grasshopper!

Bright green, beautifully marked and looking rather proud.

Fun fact: bladder grasshoppers are mostly nocturnal, and the males have an amazing inflated abdomen which acts like a natural sound chamber, helping to amplify their mating calls. 📣🦗
