Thank you to everyone who attended my 3rd garden tour today, as always, it's wonderful to meet new people and impart my knowledge and for me to learn from everybody too. On our italian menu today, we had a leek and mushroom rissoto, a veggie lasagna with aubergine slices, a gnocchi with a pommodoro sauce, butternut ravioli with a burnt sage butter sauce and for dessert we had a kiwi and mint sorbet, a plantain flan with caramelized plantain, a rhubarb and rasberry crostada, and a green bean and potato salad with a basil pesto, and a colorful raw salad ...plates were clean! so I think it was thoroughly enjoyed! Walk with me through my garden and my journey, while trying to create a self sufficient lifestyle. Come experience what it's taken us to grow our organic produce, both our failures and successes. Come feel, smell, taste & see.

Thank you KZN Midlands for attending my recent garden tour and farm to fork experience, it was thoroughly enjoyed by all. On the menu, was a fragrant vegetarian thai green curry with jasmine rice, stir fried garlic and chilli sou sou with sh*take mushrooms, chilli fry amadumbe, fresh spring rolls with a peanut satay sauce, stir fried garlic brinjols in oyster sauce and leek, mushroom and garlic leaf dim sum, for dessert we had red fig tart, spicy preserved guava's with natural yogurt, and butternut donuts with cinnamon sugar Look out for my next tour with the food theme: Italian

A well received garden tour! Such a proactive group, and extremely keen to start their self sufficient lifestyle.
The food was throughly enjoyed by all, on the menu was roasted aubergine choka/oro, veg briyani, dhall braised with white brinjols, cucumber, mint and corriander raitha, salad, mustard and cumin calabash, panner matar, sugar bean and potato curry, colcasia leaf/amadumbe leaf curry, braised pumpkin tops, maize meal roti, and homemade pickles, dessert was butternut fritters with a cashew nut butter topped with roasted cashew nuts, and, lime and Zucchini cupcakes with a lime and pistachio cream cheese frosting, sprinkled with lime zest and shaved pistachios.
