Hunting at Klein Bolayi
For a successful hunt the following are required:
Rifle with a good gun belt.
Ammunition. 40 quality soft point.
Telescope that had already been'zero 'is.
Pocket knife, cut.
Gun 'cleaning kit.

Clothes (Green / khaki): Good walking shoes, thick socks, 3 shirts, 3 pants, thick jackets & Grandpa's Long Johns.

Comfortable clothes for after-hunt, eg. T-shirt, track suit.

Klein Bolayi Hunting Safaris is committed to offer a quality hunt for the dedicated and regular South African biltong and trophy hunter. The farms covers, Klein Bolayi Game farm (fenced 700 hectares) and Tovey Game Farm (fenced 1800 hectares) with a unique landscape in the heart of the worlds largest concentration of Baobab trees, surrounded by fascinating granite outcrops and pristine bushy riverbeds, making Game Lodge and Farm, Klein Bolayi and Tovey the perfect hunting getaway and relaxation in the Limpopo valley, away from the bustle of city life. GAME LODGE KLEIN BOLAYI has 29 thatched chalets and can accommodate up to 58 people. Each of the chalets offers en-suite facilities. Cooling fans and air conditioning are standard features to ensure your comfort.

The hunting season: April to August each year.
Hunting Method: A hunter with a specially equipped vehicle to the field of transport by the PH / manager, accompanied by guides / trackers. Once the game / species / flock is identified, we move away with the vehicle and bring it to a standstill. The hunter is then guided by the PH where the species is then hunted according to the walk & stalk hunting method. For the Bow-hunter, Hides has been erected on the Tovey Game Farm. The correct method will be explained to the hunter.
The environment: Winters are known for being not so cold in our valley. Average temperature is 15 to 25 ° C during the day and 2 to 6 ° C at night. Dawn is about 07h30 and sunset at 17h30. During the day, the weather mild, sometimes with a nice breeze.

Accommodation is in the famous chalets, a unique game lodge with an incredible atmosphere between large baobab trees. Each bed has a duvet, bed sheets, pillow and a woolen blanket. The separate ablution consists of a toilet, shower and sink. The Guest house is self catering, no meals are provided. Make sure that the grocery list is complete. Bring a cooler with plenty of ice otherwise you can make use of our restaurant and bar for food and beverages

Terms and Conditions
Reservations: A reservation will only be confirmed after 50% of the package fee is paid and a copy of the deposit slip is provided to Klein Bolayi Safaris. Only then are you confirming booking. Fees for animals are payable after the hunt and before departure from the grounds. The deposit is not refundable unless cancellation in writing sixty (60) days is received before the reservation date. A ten percent (10%) and return administration fee will be charged on all cancellations.

Hunting method / S: Hunters have the option to walk to wildlife & stalk (which we choose v), or hunting from the equipped hunting vehicle. As facilitators, we create the hunt, but it's every hunter's choice and views on ethical JAG. For bow hunters, Hides is provided on Tovey Lodge.
PAYMENT: Cash / Internet / Swipe card
Tips / gratuities to guides / cleaners are offered only in cash and no alcoholic beverages may be given to the workers and aids. The workers are enthusiastic and willing; please take care of them in every respect. All wounded game is payable in full as per the tariff.
Safety: Although every effort is made to ensure hunters and visitors' safety, there is always some risk in nature. For example, do not have a fox found docile approach, because it might have rabies. During the summer, snakes abound, so always be on the lookout.
There are sometimes blue monkeys, meerkats and baboons that come to visit the camp. Please avoid physical contact and do not feed the animals.
VERY IMPORTANT:
Guns, ammunition, licenses and permits: Ensure that you arrive at Klein Bolayi with a valid hunting license, obtainable from Nature Conservation and some gun dealers. Leaving, you will be provided with a valid permit for the transport of your game, meat and / or carcass.
Make sure that the calibre of your gun is correct for the type of game you are hunting. A permissible caliber for hunting is between .222 and .338; and kudu is between .30 and .375, which may be used. Only "soft point" ammunition is permitted, not "full metal jacket" no. As always, check everything with us before you hunt.
Summary terms and conditions:
Right of access STRICTLY reserved.
Each hunter must have a hunting rifle with which he himself has hunting.
Hunters and / or visitors entering the farm or hunter clean at your own risk.
Wounded game that cannot be found, as shot accepted and must be paid in full.
No alcoholic beverages or products are allowed in the hunting field.
During "walk & stalk", a guide accompanies the hunter.
Hunters arrive before 17h00 on day of arrival; Departure before 10h00 on day of departure.

Your firearm license(s) must be in order.
Minimum persons and minimum nights as shown on booking calendar.
Deposit the full accommodation fee, also to confirm reservation.
Decisions and rules of professional hunter or person must be observed in control.
Compliance with all the rules with respect of safety.
Hunters' skills and their equipment will be tested on the shooting range before hunting.
All additional expenses during the hunt and accommodation are fully paid before departure.
Some species are on request and can sometimes be hunted on neighbouring farms; If so, all the rules and regulations are there.
Prices and rates may change without notice, but is not paid for deposit.
No dogs or other pets or personal pets allowed.
Fi****ms must be unloaded in the camp, during transport.
Fi****ms must remains “bagged until hunter in the field.”
The use of a "clip" to be allowed to avoid foregoing.
No hunting from any vehicle is allowed.
Shoot only in the direction of the game indicated by the vendor / PH / folders.
Only game that was discussed, may be hunted by the hunter.
