🌹 Planting a Little Love 🌿
On 3 September, we celebrated Arbor Week at Protea Hotel Midrand with a special afternoon of planting, sustainability and togetherness. 🌱
Our Guests joined our staff and management team in our garden, where together we planted six beautiful Iceberg rose bushes — adding a little more colour, beauty and life to our garden. 🌹
The afternoon was also an opportunity to highlight the importance of Arbor Week and caring for our environment, while celebrating another milestone that is very special to us-
Our recent Green Key Certification. 💚
Our Green Key Certification is a wonderful recognition of our commitment to responsible and sustainable practices, and we are incredibly proud to be taking steps towards a greener future.
With refreshments and snacks enjoyed along the way, it was lovely to see our Guests getting involved and supporting our initiative.
As a small memento of the afternoon, each Guest also received a herb or vegetable seedling to take home — encouraging everyone to continue growing something green of their own. 🌱
It was a beautiful afternoon filled with good company, a little sunshine and plenty of love for our environment.
Planting a little love today, for a greener tomorrow. 🌿🌹💚
