❤️ Her Story
Queen’s story is one of deep connection and second chances.
In 2019, when she was just 3 years old and fresh off an unsuccessful racing career, one of the Owl’s Loft Guesthouse staff brought her home—and from that moment, an unbreakable bond was formed. They went through many of life’s challenges together, growing side by side.
Queen quickly proved herself to be an exceptionally talented and competitive mare, with the scope and ability to reach the very top in showjumping.
In 2025, a selfless and incredibly difficult decision was made. Knowing Queen deserved the opportunity to fulfil her potential at the highest level, she was sold to a carefully chosen home where she could compete.
She went on to achieve wonderful success, winning multiple titles. But along the way, she was diagnosed with a mild case of kissing spine.
Fate had other plans.
She was sent back—and the reunion was nothing short of deeply emotional. A full-circle moment that reminded us all that some bonds are never meant to be broken.
Queen is now safely home, where she belongs, and she will never be sold again. She will be lovingly managed with ongoing care, including monthly shockwave therapy, and will continue to live a meaningful, happy life surrounded by those who love her.
