Winter Fishing Escape at Nkonkoni Fishing Camp

What an unforgettable winter adventure on the water! Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, calm conditions, and plenty of tigerfish action, this trip to Nkonkoni Fishing Camp delivered memories that will last a lifetime.

A huge congratulations to Jess Baines, Mark Bray, Oliver Santoro, Carmen Lunn, Jess Clark, and Chris Clark, who enjoyed an incredible few days of fishing, relaxation, and good company.

The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the magnificent tigerfish landed, including two standout specimens weighing 4kg and 4.5kg. These hard-fighting freshwater predators tested tackle and anglers alike, rewarding persistence with unforgettable battles and spectacular catches.

Another unforgettable day at Nkonkoni Fishing Camp with Lady Fathima School.

From sunrise around the campfire to exploring the bush on nature walks, every moment was filled with adventure, teamwork and memories that will last a lifetime.

The learners embraced the outdoors, enjoyed friendly activities together and experienced the true spirit of camp life. Whether it was gathering around the fire, discovering nature along the trails or sharing laughs back at camp, it was a day to remember.
