🐴 Look who’s having a little lie down! 😴 It might look unusual to see a horse lying flat in the field, but this is actually a very important part of their day.

Horses can snooze standing up, but they need to lie down to get their precious REM sleep. And as prey animals, they generally only properly switch off like this when they feel safe, comfortable and relaxed. 💚

So this little snooze? We’ll take it as a compliment. 😉

Every winter, our tortoises disappear into hibernation, quietly tucked away until warmer days arrive.

So imagine our surprise when our Farm Manager Carol and owner Tracy were walking around the farm the other day and spotted a very previously MIA tortoise casually popping his head out! 👀🐢

We knew exactly what that meant…
