Some exciting news from the owners of Thutlwa Safari Lodge:

Dear Valued Guests,

We have some important and exciting news to share. After years of incredible memories, Thutlwa Safari Lodge has been sold. We will officially cease operations on the 22nd of April 2025, marking the end of a remarkable chapter. If you are still wanting to visit the lodge, feel free to book now for travel before 22nd of April: https://www.thutlwasafarilodge.com/rates

The new owners have ambitious plans to transform the lodge into a full-board, 10-room luxury Safari Lodge, offering an elevated experience for future guests. This upgraded lodge will be sold at a per-person rate and promises to bring even more comfort, luxury, and exceptional service. We are thrilled to see Thutlwa Safari Lodge evolve, and we’re confident it will continue to hold a special place in the hearts of all who visit.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your unwavering support over the years. From your first inquiries to your last safari sundowner, you’ve been the reason behind every cherished moment at the lodge.

As for our beloved Vickie and Dian, they will remain part of this exciting new journey, staying on to manage the upgraded lodge. This marks the beginning of a new chapter in their lives, filled with fresh opportunities to create incredible guest experiences.

The new lodge is expected to open towards the end of the year, and we can’t wait to see it come to life. We’re confident it will exceed expectations and continue to be a sanctuary for safari lovers.
