A very special Bridle Southern Right Whale calf who first visited Mossel Bay with its mother is back—this time, more grown, more majestic and still making waves in our hearts!

There's something deeply moving about seeing a whale return to our shores—proof that Mossel Bay isn’t just a stopover... it’s home.

As whale season begins to stir, this gentle giant reminds us of the raw beauty and deep bonds woven through our coastal waters. Whether you're watching from The Point, aboard a boat, or just standing in awe along the shoreline—every sighting is a gift.

Dreamy moments Ama House - Mossel Bay

I highly recommend this Mossel Bay historic Air B & B for friendship getaways, beach strolls, shell collecting, exploring the antique stores and coffee shops of the town.

With three double rooms and an adjacent cottage, the property can sleep 8 in total. We took a dip in the plunge pool and had a candle lit supper looking over the harbour to the tune of seagulls.

The lure of Ama House lies in the intricate details of the property: the exposed stone walls, the antique furniture, aged wooden floors, shell collections and handmade pottery pieces.

Off street parking and a private courtyard with a saltwater plunge pool and sundeck.
