"Good place for relaxing. Wide views, farm animals all around, comfortable room and it is pitch-black in the room at night which is fantastic for a good night's rest. Pieter was a great host - explaining where to find the lakes where we could see birds, and telling us about the history of the place and details about the farming. We witnessed a calf being born - a rare experience for city people. We self-catered except for one supper which Aretha had made - it was delicious. Staff also helpful and friendly."

The place is really beautiful. A working farm where you are surrounded by sheep, horses.... amazing main house more than 100 years old. The room was huge and with all the commodities. Fantastic Lake view.
The best were the hots, lovely couple who look after you and share their histories
I totally recommend the place!

The peaceful and calm farm atmosphere! Only spent one night, but would have loved to have stayed longer. Beautiful setting, friendly hosts, well-equipped unit and every detail attended to.

Lovely room, great fire, superb dinner in our room & an amazing bath! Peace & quiet, lovely view of the Dam Peter’s attention to detail and a beautifully appointed room. Slipper bath was great!
