International Vulture Awareness Day is set aside each year to raise awareness around these critically important species ✨.

Here in Mtunzini, we are so lucky to have the incredible Palm-nut Vulture which can be seen on a daily basis if you keep your eyes open!

Did you know?
🪶 Unlike typical vultures which feed on carrion, the Palm-nuts feed largely on palm fruits from the gorgeous Raffia palms that are found around our village and coastline.
🪶 Palm-nut Vultures form part of their own genus and are classified as an Old World Vulture.
🪶 Instead of big groups, Palm-nut Vultures are solitary nesting species and are monogamous!

Meet our beautiful Room Five ✨

Guests love this suite! Room Five has a stunning view of the pool and the natural spaces surrounding it. There is a king bed which can be converted into two singles, a coffee station, DSTV and Netflix. A neat work station and chill area outside really makes this one a winner 🌿.
